HI everyone,
Just wanted to share a quick reflection on my recovery journey. The first time around, after my relapse and a 4-day bender at the 4-month mark, I found myself bedridden for a week. It was tough, no doubt. The second time, post-relapse, wasn’t as severe, but that hangover… well, let’s just say it was from hell. That put me off drinking for life. It’s important to lose your tolerance for drink.
Yet, here I am, celebrating 1 year and 5 days of sobriety. 🎉
It’s been a rollercoaster, and I’ve learned that setbacks are part of the process. Each stumble taught me resilience, and every hangover reinforced my commitment to a healthier life. To anyone facing challenges, remember you’re not alone. We all have our battles.
Stay strong, and here’s to brighter, hangover-free days!
Cheers,
Ethan.
